EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
What is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise Physiology is an allied health profession that specialises in the delivery of exercise to allow you to live a more functional and healthy lifestyle.
Exercise Physiologists are university qualified professionals who specialise in designing and delivering safe and effective evidence-based interventions for people with chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.
How can Exercise Physiology help me?
Our Exercise Physiologists will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan to address your specific neurological condition, goals and needs. During your initial consultation, we will assess your level of health, function, posture, mental health, biomechanics, lifestyle habits, and medical history. We adopt a holistic approach to treatment and want to understand the best way we can help you!
Our team of Exercise Physiologists at Physical Evolution focus on developing your physical capacity to increase your health, independence and allow you to participate in more activities you love in and around the community. We will facilitate a more functional lifestyle by providing you with education, time management, physical activity and exercise prescription guidance.
Our Exercise Physiology team is trained and experienced in delivering effective exercise programs for a range of neurological conditions. Having a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology and the management of chronic conditions and disability, we will tailor your program to your specific physical function.
Depending on your condition or disability, our Exercise Physiologists may work in conjunction with our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure the best level of multidisciplinary care.
If you have NDIS, Physical Evolution can help self-managed and plan-managed participants with Exercise Physiology services. If you would like to find out if you are eligible for the NDIS, or for more information please visit ndis.gov.au.
